January 2012

Grow fresh, eat fresh in 2012

Although most of us are in the grips of a very hot Summer, it is always a good time to get out in the garden and start clearing up overgrown parts of the garden, and turning over the compost heaps. Most of this time of the year you are all enjoying wonderful Summer crops.

Be sure to start saving seeds from your delicious Tomatoes and Chillies for next years crops. I always make my sauces this time of the year, with Chillies, Bulls Horn Peppers and several varieties of Tomatoes and herbs.

I dabble in making all types of Hot Chilli sauces and different types of Pickles.

I will put some photo’s of this years sauces I am making.

Happy gardening everyone.
